Explore the Sport of Lawnbowling

The objective of the game of bowls or lawn bowling is to to roll a biased bowl so that it stops close to another smaller target ball called a “jack”.

Velocity, aim, conditions of the green and weather can all influence the line of the bowl. The sport is easy to play, but challenging to master!

Lawn bowling is a low impact exercise that keeps you fit and having fun in the great outdoors.

A yearly membership with unlimited play costs less than a round of golf. Coaching is free for members.

League Membership

Wednesday Nights from June 18th to Sept 10th

Information and 2025 Fees:

2 bowlers per team (doubles), if you require a spare you can pull from other club members or spare list.
$175 per player which includes full club membership (you can play other nights)
Spare List: If you are a non-member, you can pay $40.00 to be placed on the spare list for the league season. This covers your insurance costs.
Team payment required by June 25th via etransfer osroselawntreasurer@gmail.com or in person at club.

July 2nd to Aug 27th Regular Season
Sept 3rd and 10th Playoffs

Roselawn Bowling Club offers more! In addition to inter-club events, tournaments, and social events throughout the season (May to September), we also offer our greens for rent and for Team Building workplace exercises.

Established in 1920, Roselawn Bowling Club is the premiere lawn bowling club of Owen Sound. Boasting ma rinks on beautifully manicured greens, Roselawn hosts regular jitney nights, league nights, club and district tournaments and social events throughout the season.

Roselawn Bowling Club also offers our greens for rent for schools and groups and for Team Building workplace exercises.
